Redesign and develop a user-friendly knowledge exchange platform connecting farmers, researchers and agritech innovators, improving navigation, accessibility and engagement to drive agricultural collaboration and innovation.

Improving Navigation and Accessibility for Agricultural Innovation.

Farm PEP is a knowledge exchange platform connecting individuals and organisations in agriculture, including producers, agritech innovators, and government bodies, to drive faster growth and innovation. Creative Coop was commissioned to improve usability, accessibility, and engagement, easing the path for readers to find the content they wanted, as well as increasing the functionality available to administrators and content creators to cross-reference their information resources.

Our goal was to help Farm PEP become a leading hub for agricultural knowledge exchange, encouraging collaboration and making it easier for users of all digital skill levels to find and share information.

Solutions and Measurable Impact.

We redesigned the platform with a clear, colour-coded navigation system and structured content for easy discovery. Tailored user journeys guide contributors smoothly through the process of adding and exploring knowledge, while a modern, brand-aligned UI gives the site a professional and trustworthy feel. Mobile optimisation and descriptive resource labelling were introduced to make the platform accessible to users with low digital literacy.

We built a custom notification system to help readers to track changes in content that interested them, and to encourage them to participate in the knowledge community. We used features of the Drupal Groups module to turn every piece of content on the site into a mini-community incentivized to share and contribute.

The redevelopment delivered measurable improvements, including increased sign-ups, higher user retention, and stronger engagement across communities. Farm PEP is now recognised as a more inclusive, user-friendly space for sharing agricultural insights, supporting faster innovation and growth across the sector.
