The 10th of October marked World Mental Health Day. With many of us feeling the strain and difficulty placed upon us from living through a pandemic, it was fair to say this World Mental Health Day was very much needed.
Balance, a project curated by The Hub, had planned an entire day of talks, workshops and activities all focused around mental health and feeling good! We were lucky enough to have been asked to design the brand and identity for this event, so to not overshadow or distract from any of the main acts we designed something clear, honourable and simple.
The day itself was filled with all kinds of events like a laughter workshop in the morning – which is an amazing start to your day – followed by some coaching sessions, then an informal chat with Julia and Andy. There was much, much more going on throughout the day, everything was free so you could drop in and drop out of any sessions that you wanted. The talks and workshops really helped open your mind to new possibilities and gave good instruction on how to cope with the things that are battling you. All in all, it was an amazing opportunity and a stroke of genius to Julia and the Balance team for pulling it all together!
